Can I ride the inland Coconut Road sections on a road bike?
Yes but slower — 28 mm handles the broken concrete, you'll just take it easy on the rougher 20 km. For a smoother day, take the gravel.
Are there real climbs on Siargao?
No — max elevation is ~60 m. It's rolling, not climbing. Perfect for tempo / endurance training in tropical heat.
Is the road open and safe?
The Circumferential Road is wide, well-paved and very low traffic outside the General Luna–Dapa corridor. Watch for tricycles and dogs.
