Is this your kind of bike?

Rougher island trails

Siargao isn't a singletrack destination, but inland Siargao has plenty of unpaved tracks that come alive after a rain. Our partners’ mountain bikes are the right call when you want to explore beyond the asphalt — beach access trails, village paths, post-monsoon mud sections.

  • Riders who want to ditch the asphalt entirely
  • Adventurous types who don't mind mud
  • Anyone planning to ride after heavy rain

FAQ

Are there real MTB trails on Siargao?

Not really dedicated singletrack like Timberland in Luzon. But there's plenty of inland and coastal track exploration if you're willing to ride and discover. We can point you to interesting sectors.

Is MTB overkill for the Coconut Road?

Yes — you'll spend the whole day spinning out on asphalt. Take a gravel bike for that.

After heavy rain, what's rideable?

Coconut Road inland sections become mud — perfect MTB territory. Stick to it if you ride within 24h of a tropical downpour.
